1 - Overview

AspectDescription
Purpose
  • Allows the player to jump over the mid-height objects. 
  • Mid-height objects: The object's height is measured between the PC's waist and the chest.
TypeTraversal Action
UsagePlayer presses the jump button near the vaultable object. PC performs the vaulting.
How it works
  1. Player approaches vaultable objects or obstacles.
  2. Player Character Class detects the vaultable object and checks if the object is vaultable.
  3. A prompt appears on the screen to guide the player on which buttons to press.
  4. Player presses the button while next to the object or while walking through it.
  5. The animation plays, and the PC vaults over the obstacle.
